About Me *
Hello and welcome! You are likely here because you are looking for support and compassion either for yourself or a loved one and I am grateful to be a part of that journey. My hope is to uplift you as you move toward increased healing and wholeness in your life. I take a holistic, collaborative, practical and empathic approach. My aim is to empower you to work with your emotions and to utilize your strengths as a means of moving through anxiety, overwhelm, trauma and insecurities.
I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. I have worked extensively with adults, young adults, teens and adolescents providing both therapy and advocacy for my clients. I am excited to continue to work with individuals of all ages, genders, and goals for therapy and to support my clients in finding the best tools for their healing.
In my free time I love to go hiking, take a hot yoga class, go to the farmers market, horseback ride, and spend time with my husband and our dogs. I am passionate about the environment, holistic health and wellness and enjoy spending as much time in nature as possible! I am also a certified holistic health coach.
I invite you to give me a call in order for us to explore if we will be a good fit to work together. We will have the ability to talk about your hopes for therapy and can move to set up an appointment if it feels right for you. Together, we will discover and explore new, integrated, healthier, more aligned ways of being, and ultimately work to achieve increased peace and connection with yourself and others.
I am licensed in California and am pursuing dual licensure in Colorado.

My services
Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy & Family Therapy
Within each of these therapeutic groupings, I strive to create a treatment plan that is customized to your symptoms, needs, dynamics and goals. I take a collaborative, inclusive and proactive approach to therapy that combines many modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected), exposure response prevention therapy (the practice of making a choice not to do a compulsive behavior once anxiety or obsessions have been activated), dialectical behavioral therapy (the word dialectical means combining opposite ideas. DBT focuses on helping people accept the reality of their lives and their behaviors, while helping them learn to change their lives, including their unhelpful behaviors) and many other approaches to meet you where you are at and support you on your journey.
I believe that therapy is about creating new patterns in our brains, forming insight, building connections, learning to trust ourselves and accruing skills to move toward a new way of being.

I do not accept any insurance providers at this time. I have chosen not to take insurance in order to make sure that I can provide the highest quality, personalized care without the constraints and limitations of insurance policies.
However, I am happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.

Superbills are provided to clients who pay for services out of pocket. A superbill is a receipt we provide to you with specific information that your insurance company needs in order to provide reimbursement. Even though we do not directly accept insurance, it doesn't mean you cannot utilize your coverage. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, which can reimburse either the full cost or a portion of our session fees. It is crucial that you review your out-of-network coverage, including factors such as deductibles and whether you have met them. These elements will influence the reimbursement process and the amount you may be eligible to receive.
-
I require a cancellation notice 24 hours prior to your appointment. Due to the time commitment and dedicated resources for your session, late notices or no shows are charged the full session rate.

I understand beginning therapy can be challenging so I am here to support you in getting started. I offer a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation which can be booked directly online. After this, we will move forward with scheduling if you choose to do so. Once therapy has started, I will make sure to create a treatment plan that is individual to your symptoms and goals. It is important to note that therapy can sometimes feel challenging in the beginning but that growth is on the horizon!
